Abstract
A projection method includes detecting a first section formed of a flat surface at a projection surface, detecting a second section formed of a concave surface at the projection surface, projecting image light in a first visual aspect onto the first section by a projector, and projecting image light in a second visual aspect different from the first visual aspect onto the second section by the projector.
Claims14
A projection method comprising:
- detecting a first section formed of a flat surface at a projection surface;
- detecting a second section formed of a concave surface at the projection surface based at least in part on a radius of a curvature of the second section and a center of the curvature of the second section;
- projecting image light in a first visual aspect onto the first section by a projector;
- and
- projecting image light in a second visual aspect different from the first visual aspect onto the second section by the projector.

A projector comprising:
- a light source;
- a light modulator that modulates light outputted from the light source;
- a distance sensor;
- and
- at least one processor that performs operations comprising:
- detecting a first section formed of a flat surface at a projection surface using the distance sensor;
- detecting a second section formed of a concave surface at the projection surface based at least in part on a radius of a curvature of the second section using the distance sensor;
- projecting image light in a first visual aspect onto the first section using the light source and the light modulator;
- and
- projecting image light in a second visual aspect different from the first visual aspect onto the second section using the light source and the light modulator.
