Abstract
A system for generating image content, the system comprising an image region identification unit operable to identify one or more regions of an image to be displayed as low-detail regions, an image processing unit operable to perform processing to reduce colour differences for each of one or more areas within one or more of the identified regions, and an image output unit operable to output one or more processed images.
Claims14
A system for generating image content, the system comprising:
- an image region identification unit operable to identify one or more regions of an image to be displayed as low-detail regions;
- an image processing unit operable to perform processing to reduce colour differences for each of one or more areas within one or more of the identified regions;
- and
- an image output unit operable to output one or more processed images, where the one or more processed images include each of the one or more areas having the reduced colour differences.
A method for generating image content, the method comprising:
- identifying one or more regions of an image to be displayed as low-detail regions;
- performing processing to reduce colour differences for each of one or more areas within one or more of the identified regions;
- and
- outputting one or more processed images, where the one or more processed images include each of the one or more areas having the reduced colour differences.
A non-transitory machine-readable storage medium which stores computer software which, when executed by a computer, causes the computer to perform a method for generating image content, the method comprising:
- identifying one or more regions of an image to be displayed as low-detail regions;
- performing processing to reduce colour differences for each of one or more areas within one or more of the identified regions;
- and
- outputting one or more processed images, where the one or more processed images include each of the one or more areas having the reduced colour differences.
