Operational data corresponding to a product model

A method, comprising:

• maintaining, by a product designer module comprising a processor, an insurance product model that specifies possible configurations of insurance policy products associated with a plurality of insurance policies;
• receiving, at least in part from an analytics engine via an interface, a feed of operational data pertaining to a set of existing insurance transactional data associated with the plurality of insurance policies;
• and
• presenting to be displayed:
• at least a portion of the insurance product model comprising a set of insurance product model elements, wherein a view of the at least portion of the insurance product model is augmented at least in part by at least some of the feed of operational data pertaining to the set of insurance product model elements, and wherein the at least some of the feed of operational data by which the view of the at least portion of the insurance product model is augmented comprises a number of bound policies pertaining to the set of insurance product model elements.

A computer program product embodied in a non-transitory computer readable storage medium and comprising computer instructions for:

• maintaining, by a product designer module comprising a processor, an insurance product model that specifies possible configurations of insurance policy products associated with insurance policies;
• receiving, at least in part from an analytics engine via an interface, a feed of operational data pertaining to a set of existing insurance transactional data associated with the insurance policies;
• and
• presenting to be displayed:
• at least a portion of the insurance product model comprising a set of insurance product model elements, wherein a view of the at least portion of the insurance product model is augmented at least in part by at least some of the feed of operational data pertaining to the set of insurance product model elements, and wherein the at least some of the feed of operational data by which the view of the at least portion of the insurance product model is augmented comprises a number of bound policies pertaining to the set of insurance product model elements.
