Abstract
A printer that prints each printing medium having an RFID, the printer including: a radio wave strength acquisition unit that acquires radio wave strength from the RFID; and a determine unit that determines whether the RFID is normal or not on the basis of a radio wave strength obtained by the radio wave strength acquisition unit and a threshold.
Claims10
A printer configured to print on a printing medium having an RFID, the printer comprising:
- a controller configured to:
- obtain a radio wave strength threshold associated with the RFID,
- determine a radio wave strength of a signal received from the RFID, and
- determine whether or not the RFID is normal based on a comparison between the determined radio wave strength of the signal received from the RFID and the radio wave strength threshold.
A control method of a printer configured to print on a printing medium having an RFID, the method comprising:
- obtaining a radio wave strength threshold associated with the RFID,
- determining a radio wave strength of a signal received from the RFID, and
- determining whether or not the RFID is normal based on a comparison between the determined radio wave strength of the signal received from the RFID and the radio wave strength threshold.
A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing a program executable by a computer of a printer configured to print on a printing medium having an RFID, the program causing the computer to:
- obtain a radio wave strength threshold associated with the RFID,
- determine a radio wave strength of a signal received from the RFID, and
- determine whether or not the RFID is normal based on a comparison between the determined radio wave strength of the signal received from the RFID and the radio wave strength threshold.
