Abstract
A display apparatus includes a display unit including a display panel configured to display an image, a curvature variation unit disposed on a rear surface of the display unit and varying a curvature of the display unit, and a vibration unit disposed on the rear surface of the display unit configured to vibrate the display panel.
Claims24
A display apparatus, comprising:
- a display unit having a curvature;
- and
- a first vibration unit disposed on a rear surface of the display unit in a first region of the display unit and having a curvature corresponding to the curvature of the display unit,
- wherein the display unit includes:
- a display panel configured to display an image;
- a back cover disposed on a rear surface of the display panel and supporting the first vibration unit,
- wherein the first vibration unit is configured to vibrate the display panel,
- wherein the back cover comprises a first slit having one end at the first vibration unit and extending away from the first vibration unit so that the one end of the first slit overlaps the first vibration unit in a plan view, and
- wherein the display panel comprises:
- an encapsulation member disposed on a pixel array layer including a plurality of pixels;
- and
- a touch sensor layer disposed on the encapsulation member.
