Abstract
A light emitting device includes: a mounting board; a light source positioned on the mounting board; a light diffusion plate; a diffuse reflector positioned between the mounting board and the light diffusion plate, and above at least part of an emission face of the light source; and a wavelength conversion layer positioned on or above the diffuse reflector.
Claims11
A light emitting device comprising:
- a mounting board;
- a light source positioned on the mounting board;
- a light diffusion plate;
- a diffuse reflector positioned between the mounting board and the light diffusion plate, and above at least part of an emission face of the light source, wherein:
- in a top view, the diffuse reflector overlaps said at least part of the emission face of the light source,
- the diffuse reflector comprises a resin, and reflecting particles dispersed in the resin, and
- a distance from an upper surface of the mounting board to a lowermost surface of the diffuse reflector is greater than an overall height of the light source from the upper surface of the mounting board;
- and
- a wavelength conversion layer positioned on or above the diffuse reflector.
