Snap to grid bracket for a sprinlker support assembly

A fire sprinkler support assembly comprising:

• a beam defining a first side and a second side;
• and
• a bracket assembly comprising:
• a first plate defining a first end and a second end, wherein a plate opening is formed through the first plate between the first end of the first plate and the second end of the first plate;
• a second plate defining a first end and a second end, the first end of the second plate extending through the plate opening, the second plate rotatable between a first position and a second position relative to the first plate at the plate opening;
• a lever assembly coupling the first plate to the second plate, the lever assembly operable to rotate the second plate relative to the first plate to adjust a distance between the first plate and the second plate;
• and
• a seating frame extending from the second end of the first plate, the seating frame including a first member disposed on the first side of the beam and a second member disposed on the second side of the beam;
• wherein, in the first position, the first end of the second plate defines:
• a lateral member extending through the plate opening and oriented substantially perpendicular to the first plate;
• a middle section extending substantially upwards from the lateral member and angled away from an interior surface of the first plate;
• and
• a tip end extending substantially upwards from the middle section opposite the lateral member and angled towards the interior surface of the first plate.
