Claims19
A method of breaking a foam, emulsion, or any combination thereof, the method comprising:
- contacting the foam, emulsion, or any combination thereof with a breaking composition, wherein the breaking composition comprising a partitioning agent;
- wherein the partitioning agent has an octanol/water partition coefficient ([P]) at 25°, and wherein the log of the partition coefficient at 25° (log[P]) is from 0.1 to 5.
