Abstract
Disclosed within are various methods for adjusting height and rotation of a spray gun used in a line striper via a graphical user interface (GUI) in a control device.
Claims23
A method for adjusting a height and rotation of a spray gun used in a line striper via a graphical user interface (GUI) in a control device, the method comprising:
- (a) receiving, via the GUI, a first user selection to either raise or lower a spray gun mount bar via a height adjustment mechanism, the spray gun mount bar having a gun holder assembly to retain the spray gun and the height adjustment mechanism coupled to the spray gun mount bar;
- (b) raising or lowering the spray gun mount bar based on the first user selection received in (a);
- (c) receiving, via the GUI, a second user selection to rotate, either clockwise or counter-clockwise, an angular adjustment mechanism coupled to the spray gun mount bar;
- and
- (d) rotating clockwise or counter-clockwise the spray gun mount bar based on the second user selection received in (c).
A method for adjusting a height and rotation of a spray gun used in a line striper via a graphical user interface (GUI) in a control device, the method comprising:
- (a) receiving, via the GUI, a first user selection to either raise or lower a spray gun mount bar via a height adjustment mechanism, the spray gun mount bar having a gun holder assembly to retain the spray gun and the height adjustment mechanism coupled to the spray gun mount bar;
- (b) transmitting a first command to the height adjustment mechanism to raise or lower the spray gun mount bar by a predetermined distance based on the first user selection received in (a);
- (c) receiving, via the GUI, a second user selection to rotate, either clockwise or counter-clockwise, an angular adjustment mechanism coupled to the spray gun mount bar;
- and
- (d) transmitting a second command to the angular adjustment mechanism to rotate clockwise or counter-clockwise the spray gun mount bar by a predetermined angle based on the second user selection received in (c),
- the height adjustment mechanism receives the first command and raises or lowers the spray gun mount bar by the predetermined distance based on the first command and the angular adjustment mechanism receives the second command and rotates the spray gun mount bar by the predetermined angle based on the second command.
A method for adjusting a height and rotation of a spray gun used in a line striper via a graphical user interface (GUI) in a control device, the method comprising:
- (e) receiving, via the GUI, a first user selection to either raise or lower a spray gun mount bar via a height adjustment mechanism, the spray gun mount bar having a gun holder assembly to retain the spray gun and the height adjustment mechanism coupled to the spray gun mount bar;
- (f) wirelessly transmitting a first command to the height adjustment mechanism to raise or lower the spray gun mount bar by a predetermined distance based on the first user selection received in (a);
- (g) receiving, via the GUI, a second user selection to rotate, either clockwise or counter-clockwise, an angular adjustment mechanism coupled to the spray gun mount bar;
- and
- (h) wirelessly transmitting a second command to the angular adjustment mechanism to rotate clockwise or counter-clockwise the spray gun mount bar by a predetermined angle based on the second user selection received in (c),
- wherein the height adjustment mechanism wirelessly receives the first command and raises or lowers the spray gun mount bar by the predetermined distance based on the first command and the angular adjustment mechanism wirelessly receives the second command and rotates the spray gun mount bar by the predetermined angle based on the second command.
