Abstract
Securing plate assemblies, systems, and methods thereof. A hinge plate assembly includes a first body portion having a groove extending into the first body and a second body portion having a tongue extending outwardly therefrom and inserted into the groove. A securing member secures the tongue in the groove.
Claims11
A hinge plate assembly comprising:
- a first body portion having an arcuate groove extending into the first body;
- and a second body portion having an arcuate tongue extending outwardly therefrom and inserted into the groove;
- and a securing member securing the tongue in the groove, wherein the arcuate tongue has an upper surface and a lower surface and the arcuate groove has an upper surface and a lower surface, and wherein when the arcuate tongue is inserted into the arcuate groove, the upper surface of the arcuate tongue interfaces with the upper surface of the arcuate groove and the lower surface of the arcuate tongue interfaces with the lower surface of the arcuate groove, wherein the securing member comprises a first shim inserted into a securing opening.
A hinge plate assembly comprising:
- a first body portion having an arcuate groove extending into the first body;
- and
- a second body portion having an arcuate tongue extending outwardly therefrom and inserted into the groove;
- a first shim securing the tongue in the groove;
- and
- a second shim securing the tongue in the groove,
- wherein the arcuate tongue has an upper surface and a lower surface and the arcuate groove has an upper surface and a lower surface, and
- wherein when the arcuate tongue is inserted into the arcuate groove, the upper surface of the arcuate tongue interfaces with the upper surface of the arcuate groove and the lower surface of the arcuate tongue interfaces with the lower surface of the arcuate groove.
