Foldable headrest spring compensator

A spring compensator which is capable of being used with a headrest and juxtaposed with a jacketed cable, said spring compensator comprising:

• a flexible cable having a first connector end spaced apart from a second connector end, said flexible cable coupled in line with a remote actuator used to fold a vehicle seat headrest;
• a coil spring encasing a portion of said flexible cable;
• a guide sleeve formed frorz a first sidewall spaced apart from a second sidewall by an outer edge constructed and arranged to slide within a headrest support tube, said guide sleeve first sidewall including a protrusion extending outwardly therefrom with a passageway between said first and second sidewalls for slidable receipt of said flexible cable, said protrusion having an outer sidewall for securement to an end of the coil spring;
• and
• a plurality of ribs laced within said guide sleeve, said ribs constructed and arranged to secure to said coil spring to aide in minimizing spring noise during coil spring engagement.
