Abstract
An outer frame for a prosthetic limb is provided. The outer frame is formed from one or more parts and has a plurality of air flow openings.
Claims20
A prosthetic limb comprising:
- an inner socket formed from a flexible material and comprising a plurality of fluted channels, each of the plurality of fluted channels having a plurality of air flow openings in series with one another along the plurality of fluted channels, wherein the plurality of airflow openings extend only a thickness of the flexible material at the plurality of fluted channels;
- and
- an outer frame formed from a rigid material and having an open lattice structure.
An inner socket for a prosthetic limb comprising a plurality of fluted channels, each of the plurality of fluted channels having a plurality of airflow openings in series with one another along the plurality of fluted channels, wherein the inner socket is flexible and the plurality of airflow openings extend only a thickness of the plurality of fluted channels.
