Abstract
Aspects of the disclosure further provide an apparatus and a method for wireless communication. The apparatus includes processing circuitry that receives, from a base station (BS), a downlink (DL) grant scheduling an uplink (UL) transmission to the BS. The DL grant indicates a first type of channel access procedure for the UL transmission. The processing circuitry performs a channel access procedure for the UL transmission according to the first type of channel access procedure indicated by the DL grant.
Claims20
A method of wireless communication at a user equipment (UE), the method comprising:
- receiving, from a base station (BS), channel occupancy information indicating a duration in a time domain and a location in a frequency domain for a channel occupancy that is initiated by the BS;
- when an uplink (UL) transmission is scheduled within the duration in the time domain and the location in the frequency domain for the channel occupancy that is initiated by the BS,
- performing a first type of channel access procedure for the UL transmission;
- and
- when the UL transmission is not scheduled within the duration in the time domain and the location in the frequency domain for the channel occupancy that is initiated by the BS,
- performing a second type of channel access procedure for the UL transmission.
An apparatus, comprising processing circuitry configured to:
- receive, from a base station (BS), channel occupancy information indicating a duration in a time domain and a location in a frequency domain for a channel occupancy that is initiated by the BS;
- when an uplink (UL) transmission is scheduled within the duration in the time domain and the location in the frequency domain for the channel occupancy that is initiated by the BS,
- perform a first type of channel access procedure for the UL transmission;
- and
- when the UL transmission is not scheduled within the duration in the time domain and the location in the frequency domain for the channel occupancy that is initiated by the BS,
- perform a second type of channel access procedure for the UL transmission.
A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing a program executable by at least one processor to perform:
- receiving, from a base station (BS), channel occupancy information indicating a duration in a time domain and a location in a frequency domain for a channel occupancy that is initiated by the BS;
- when an uplink (UL) transmission is scheduled within the duration in the time domain and the location in the frequency domain for the channel occupancy that is initiated by the BS,
- performing a first type of channel access procedure for the UL transmission;
- and
- when the UL transmission is not scheduled within the duration in the time domain and the location in the frequency domain for the channel occupancy that is initiated by the BS,
- performing a second type of channel access procedure for the UL transmission.
