Smart interactions for a digital duplicate

A method comprising:

• presenting a first perspective that comprises at least a first widget, the first widget including at least a first visual indicator that represents respective portions of source data;
• receiving a selection of the first visual indicator;
• creating a filter comprising first filter criteria based on the respective portions of source data represented by the selected first visual indicator;
• presenting a second perspective that comprises at least a second widget, the second widget including one or more second visual indicators that represent respective portions of source data;
• applying the filter to the second perspective such that the one or more second visual indicators represent respective portions of the source data filtered according to the filter;
• receiving a selection of one of the one or more second visual indicators;
• modifying the filter by adding to the filter second filter criteria based on the respective portion of source data represented by the selected one of the one more second visual indicators, whereby the modified filter comprises the first filter criteria and the second filter criteria;
• presenting a third perspective that comprises at least a third widget, the third widget including at least a third visual indicator that represents respective portions of source data;
• and
• applying the modified filter to the third perspective such that the third visual indicator represents respective portions of the source data filtered according to the modified filter.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium having program instructions stored thereon that are executable by at least one processor of a computing system such that the computing system is capable of:

• presenting a first perspective that comprises at least a first widget, the first widget including at least a first visual indicator that represents respective portions of source data;
• receiving a selection of the first visual indicator;
• creating a filter comprising first filter criteria based on the respective portions of source data represented by the selected first visual indicator;
• presenting a second perspective that comprises at least a second widget, the second widget including one or more second visual indicators that represent respective portions of source data;
• applying the filter to the second perspective such that the one or more second visual indicators represent respective portions of the source data filtered according to the filter;
• receiving a selection of one of the one or more second visual indicators;
• modifying the filter by adding to the filter second filter criteria based on the respective portion of source data represented by the selected one of the one more second visual indicators, whereby the modified filter comprises the first filter criteria and the second filter criteria;
• presenting a third perspective that comprises at least a third widget, the third widget including at least a third visual indicator that represents respective portions of source data;
• and
• applying the modified filter to the third perspective such that the third visual indicator represents respective portions of the source data filtered according to the modified filter.
