Method and system to converse across fragmented messaging services based on discussion topics

A system for managing messages across a plurality of messaging services, comprising:

• a processor configured to:
• receive a first message from a first messaging service of a first user via a first messaging channel;
• convert the first message to a format associated with a second messaging service associated with a second user;
• send the converted first message to the second user via a second messaging channel;
• receive a second message from the second messaging service of the second user;
• in response to a request from the first user to continue a conversation via the second messaging service, establish a third messaging channel to the second messaging service, wherein the third messaging channel is associated with an account of the first user on the second messaging service;
• in response to absence of receiving the request from the first user to continue the conversation via the second messaging service, terminate the conversation;
• and
• send the second message via the third messaging channel to the first user.

A computer program product embodied in a non-transitory computer readable storage medium and comprising computer instructions for:

• receiving a first message from a first messaging service of a first user via a first messaging channel;
• converting the first message to a format associated with a second messaging service associated with a second user;
• sending the converted first message to the second user via a second messaging channel;
• receiving a second message from the second messaging service of the second user;
• in response to a request from the first user to continue a conversation via the second messaging service, establishing a third messaging channel to the second messaging service, wherein the third messaging channel is associated with an account of the first user on the second messaging service;
• in response to absence of receiving the request from the first user to continue the conversation via the second messaging service, terminating the conversation;
• and
• sending the second message via the third messaging channel to the first user.
