Abstract
The present invention provides a high voltage battery rack, including: a plurality of battery modules electrically connected with each other; and a rack controller configured to control the plurality of battery modules, wherein each of the plurality of battery modules comprises: external terminals; and an MSD module configured to determine whether a voltage is applied to the external terminals during operation.
Claims10
A high voltage battery rack, comprising:
- a plurality of battery modules electrically connected with each other,
- wherein each of the plurality of battery modules comprises:
- external terminals;
- and
- an MSD (Manual Service Device) module configured to determine whether a voltage of the plurality of battery modules is applied to the external terminals during operation,
- wherein one end of the MSD module is connected to the plurality of battery modules and another end of the MSD module is connected to one of the external terminals,
- wherein each of the plurality of battery modules comprises a plurality of battery cells stacked on each other,
- wherein each of the plurality of battery modules comprises a cell connection unit which electrically connects the plurality of battery cells with each other, and
- wherein the cell connection unit comprises a fusing bus bar, the fusing bus bar including a rupture part having an opening formed in at least a portion thereof, and when a short-circuit occurs of the plurality of battery modules, the rupture part is ruptured.
