Display device

A display device comprising:

• a data line;
• a pixel electrically connected to the data line;
• a data driver configured to output a data voltage;
• and
• a transmitter electrically connected between an output terminal of the data driver and the data line, the transmitter transmitting a first instance of the data voltage to the data line in a first period, the transmitter amplifying a second instance of the data voltage to generate a reference voltage and then transmitting the reference voltage to the data line in a second period different from the first period,
• wherein the pixel includes a light emitting element emitting light in response to the first instance of the data voltage, wherein a voltage level of the reference voltage is higher than a voltage level of the data voltage, and
• wherein the transmitter includes:
• an amplifier electrically connected between the output terminal of the data driver and the data line, and
• a bypass switch electrically connected in parallel to the amplifier between the output terminal of the data driver and the data line.
