Wearable device and method of controlling the same

A wearable device comprising:

• a processor configured to:
• determine a length of the wearable device, based on electrical connection information between a first fastener and a second fastener of the wearable device;
• determine whether the determined length corresponds to one of a plurality of preset lengths for a user, each preset wearing length for the user corresponding to one of a plurality of different applications executable by the wearing device;
• based on determining that the determined length corresponds to one of the plurality of preset lengths for the user, execute the preset application corresponding to the determined wearing length;
• and
• output information with respect to the executed applicatin.

A non-transitory computer-readable recording medium having recorded thereon a program which, when executed, by a processor of a wearable device, causes the wearable device to execute:

• determining a length of the wearable device based on electrical connection information between a first fastener and a second fastener of the wearable device;
• determining whether the determined length corresponds to one of a plurality of preset lengths for a user, each preset wearing length for the user corresponding to one of a plurality of different applications executable by the wearing device;
• based on determining that the determined length corresponds to one of the plurality of preset lengths for the user, executing the preset application corresponding to the determined length;
• and
• outputting information with respect to the executed application.
