Display device including a strip oxide semiconductor overlapping an opening

A display device comprising:

• an insulating substrate;
• a gate line extending in a first direction on the insulating substrate;
• a first source line and a second source line crossing the gate line on the insulating substrate and arranged in the first direction;
• a switching element including a strip oxide semiconductor and electrically connected to the gate line and the second source line;
• and
• a first pixel electrode and a second pixel electrode arranged in a second direction crossing the first direction between the first source line and the second source line, wherein
• the first pixel electrode and the second pixel electrode are located via a space in the second direction,
• the gate line is located in the space between the first pixel electrode and the second pixel electrode,
• the strip oxide semiconductor includes a first end electrically connected to the second pixel electrode, a second end electrically connected to the second source line, and a first portion located between the first end and the second end,
• the first portion of the strip oxide semiconductor extends across the gate line between the first source line and the second source line, and
• a part of the strip oxide semiconductor overlaps the first pixel electrode, and does not overlap the gate line.
