Cooking apparatus

An apparatus for cooking lasagna noodles, the apparatus comprising:

• a top layer;
• a bottom layer;
• a middle layer disposed between the top layer and the bottom layer;
• enclosure seals for attaching the top layer, the middle layer, and the bottom layer together around a periphery of the apparatus;
• a first interior pocket between the top layer and the middle layer;
• a second interior pocket between the middle layer and the bottom layer, wherein each one of the interior pockets is sized and shaped to hold one lasagna noodle so that the lasagna noodles are prevented from sticking to each other during a cooking process;
• an insertion point creating an opening to access one of the interior pockets, wherein the insertion point being large enough to accommodate a lasagna noodle in at least one orientation;
• and
• openings disposed in the top layer and the bottom layer, wherein the openings permit fluids to enter and exit the interior pockets of the apparatus,
• wherein the insertion point further comprising an enclosure mechanism for preventing the lasagna noodle from accidentally exiting the apparatus,
• wherein the enclosure mechanism further comprising a flap that folds over the top layer at the insertion point to prevent the lasagna noodle from exiting the apparatus, and
• wherein the top layer, the bottom layer, and the middle layer are made of a flexible material.
