Abstract
The disclosure relates to pharmaceutical combinations comprising an HDAC6 selective inhibitor and a BET inhibitor for the treatment of cancer in a subject in need thereof. Also provided herein are methods for treating cancer in a subject in need thereof, comprising administering to the subject an effective amount of an HDAC6 selective inhibitor and a BET inhibitor.

A method for treating lung cancer in a subject in need thereof, comprising administering to the subject a therapeutically effective amount of a histone deacetylase 6 (HDAC6) selective inhibitor and a therapeutically effective amount of a bromodomain and extraterminal (BET) inhibitor, wherein the HDAC6 selective inhibitor is a compound of Formula I:
- or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof,
- wherein,
- ring B is aryl or heteroaryl;
- R1 is an aryl or heteroaryl, each of which may be optionally substituted by OH, halo, or C1-6-alkyl;
- and
- R is H or C1-6-alkyl.
