A method, comprising:

• dividing a sound signal included in a first content into a plurality of frequency bands;
• detecting periodicity information of each frequency band of the plurality of frequency bands;
• merging the detected periodicity information;
• generating peak information by detecting a peak position of the merged periodicity information;
• downsampling the peak information for a plurality of time sections to a downsampled peak information for a time section;
• and
• outputting the downsampled peak information as a synchronization feature amount for synchronizing a second content with the first content.

At least one non-transitory computer readable storage medium storing processor-executable instructions that, when executed by at least one computer, cause the at least one computer to perform a method, comprising:

• dividing a sound signal included in a first content into a plurality of frequency bands;
• detecting periodicity information of each frequency band of the plurality of frequency bands;
• merging the detected periodicity information;
• generating peak information by detecting a peak position of the merged periodicity information;
• downsampling the peak information for a plurality of time sections to a downsampled peak information for a time section;
• and
• outputting the downsampled peak information as a synchronization feature amount for synchronizing a second content with the first content.
