Gateway integrated with premises security system

A gateway device comprising:

• one or more processors;
• and
• memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the gateway device to:
• send, to a controller device of a security system, enrollment data associated with the gateway device as a wireless device of a first network of the security system, wherein configuration of the controller device, based on the enrollment data, enables communication, via the gateway device, between the security system and a remote device;
• based on the configuration of the controller device, receive from the controller device, security data associated with the security system;
• and
• control, based on the security data, operation of the security system.

A system comprising:

• a gateway device located at a premises;
• a security system located at the premises and comprising a controller device, wherein the controller device is configured to:
• receive enrollment data associated with the gateway device, and
• responsive to receiving the enrollment data, enroll the gateway device as a wireless device of the security system, wherein enrollment of the gateway device enables the gateway device to:
• receive security data associated with the security system;
• and
• control, based on the security data, the security system.
