Abstract

Systems and methods of using an embedded browser for displaying content from a network application in presentation mode on a secondary display are described. A method includes establishing, by a client application on a client device having a primary display and a secondary display, a session to a network application accessed via an embedded browser of the client application. The method further includes detecting, by the client application, selection of a the presentation mode while displaying a web page of the network application on a primary display of the client device. The method further includes displaying, by the embedded browser responsive to the presentation mode, content of the network application for the presentation mode on the secondary display of the client device while displaying the web page of the network application on the primary display.

Dependent claims

A method of using an embedded browser for displaying content from a network application in presentation mode on a secondary display, the method comprising:

establishing, by an embedded browser of a client application executing on a client device coupled to a first display device and a second display device, a session to a network application accessed via an embedded browser of the client application;
selecting, by the client application, responsive to detection of an interaction with an actionable object included within a web page of the network application displayed within the embedded browser, a presentation mode that is to be initiated in response to the detected interaction with the actionable object;
transmitting, by the client application, data corresponding to the selection of the presentation mode to the embedded browser, the data to cause the embedded browser to display content of the network application to be presented in the presentation mode on the second display device;
and
displaying, by the embedded browser responsive to receipt of the data from the client application, content of the network application in the presentation mode on the second display device of the client device.

one or more processors;

a client application executable on the one or more processors, coupled to memory of a client device coupled to a first display device and a second display device, the client application including an embedded browser configured to establish a session to a network application accessed via the embedded browser of the client application and selecting, responsive to detection of an interaction with an actionable object included within a web page of the network application displayed within the embedded browser, a presentation mode that is mapped to the detected interaction with the actionable object, and transmit data corresponding the selection of the presentation mode to the embedded browser, the data to cause the embedded browser to display content of the network application to be presented in the presentation mode on the second display device;
and
wherein the embedded browser within the client application is configured to display, responsive to receipt of the data from the client application, content of the network application in the presentation mode on the second display device of the client device.
