Mechanical system that fluidizes, mixes, coats, dries, combines, chemically reacts, and segregates materials

A system for mixing a plurality of materials, comprising:

• a mixing vessel configured for holding a first material therein;
• a vibratory mixer configured to oscillate at a range of about 50 Hz to about 70 Hz with a displacement amplitude of about 0.02 inches to about 0.5 inches, thereby generating a fluidized bed of the first material in the mixing vessel at a location, the vibratory mixer including a payload plate having a plane and configured to oscillate an entirety of the mixing vessel in a substantially linear direction perpendicular to the plane of the payload plate;
• and
• at least one spray nozzle configured for introducing a second material into the mixing vessel at the location.
