Abstract
Generally spherical resin particles formed of a thermoplastic resin, having a sphericity of 0.90 to 1.00, a light scattering index of 0.5 to 1.0 and a linseed oil absorption of 30 to 150 mL/100 g.
Claims9
Resin particles formed of a thermoplastic resin, wherein the resin particles have a sphericity of 0.90 to 1.00, a light scattering index of 0.5 to 1.0 and a linseed oil absorption of 30 to 150 mL/100 g, wherein the thermoplastic resin is at least one resin selected from the group consisting of polybutylene succinate and polyhydroxyalkanoate.
A method for producing resin particles formed of a thermoplastic resin comprising emulsifying and dispersing the thermoplastic resin at a temperature of 100°C. or higher in the presence of a solvent containing 3-alkoxy-3-methyl-1-butanol and/or 3-alkoxy-3- methyl-1-butylacetate (the alkoxy group has 1 to 5 carbon atoms), water and a dispersion stabilizer followed by cooling, wherein the thermoplastic resin is at least one resin selected from the group consisting of polybutylene succinate and polyhydroxyalkanoate.
