Single arm telescoping mirror

A single arm telescoping mirror apparatus, comprising:

• a mirror base, comprising:
• a support arm comprising gear teeth on a surface thereof,
• a wear plate with one or more ridges secured to the support arm, and
• one or more roller assemblies;
• and
• a mirror head, comprising:
• a non-round telescoping tube constructed and arranged to frictionally interact with the one or more roller assemblies, that comprises one or more ridges constructed and arranged to frictionally interact with the wear plate;
• and
• a motor assembly comprising a gear for interacting with the gear teeth, a motor shaft for rotating the gear teeth, and a motor for rotating the motor shaft.

A single arm telescoping mirror apparatus, comprising:

• a mirror base, comprising:
• a single support arm comprising gear teeth on a surface thereof, and
• one or more roller assemblies;
• and
• a mirror head, comprising:
• a non-round telescoping tube with one or more ridges constructed and arranged to interact with the one or more roller assemblies;
• a wear plate secured to the telescoping tube constructed and arranged to interact with the single support arm;
• and
• a motor assembly.
