Provided is a canola variety designated 16GG0344L and seed, plants and plant parts thereof produced from a cross of inbred varieties. Methods for producing a canola variety comprise crossing canola variety 16GG0344L with another canola plant. Methods for producing a canola plant containing in its genetic material one or more traits introgressed into 16GG0344L through backcross conversion and/or transformation, and to the canola seed, plant and plant part produced thereby are described. Canola variety 16GG0344L, the seed, the plant produced from the seed, plant parts and variants, mutants, and minor modifications of canola variety 16GG0344L are disclosed.
A seed of hybrid canola variety 16GG0344L, representative seed produced by crossing a first plant of variety NS7210 with a second plant of variety G00555, wherein representative seed of the varieties NS7210 and G00555 have been deposited under ATCC Accession Numbers PTA-126286 and PTA-126282, respectively.
A seed of hybrid canola variety 16GG0344L further comprising a single locus conversion, wherein a plant grown from the seed comprises a trait conferred by the single locus conversion, and wherein the seed is produced by crossing a first plant of variety NS7210 with a second plant of variety G00555, wherein the first plant, the second plant or both further comprise the single locus conversion, and wherein representative seed of the varieties NS7210 and G00555 have been deposited under ATCC Accession Numbers PTA-126286 and PTA-126282, respectively.
A method for producing a hybrid canola variety 16GG0344L seed further comprising a locus conversion, the method comprising crossing a first plant of variety NS7210 with a second plant of variety G00555, representative seed of the varieties NS7210 and G00555 having been deposited under ATCC Accession Numbers PTA-126286 and PTA-126282, respectively, wherein at least one of the varieties NS7210 and G00555 further comprises the locus conversion.
