Abstract
A method for preparing an article, the structure of which comprises a substrate of a glass or a glass-ceramic and a coating fixed to at least one portion of the surface of the substrate. In a characteristic way, the coating is generated from at least one loaded polysilsesquioxane resin; the at least one polysilsesquioxane resin not containing any aryl radical in its structure.
Claims10
A cooktop comprising:
- a glass or glass-ceramic substrate;
- and
- a coating fixed to at least one portion of a surface of the glass or glass-ceramic substrate, wherein the coating comprises a heat treated dispersion layer, the heat treated dispersion layer comprising:
- a continuous phase consisting essentially of at least one polysilsesquioxane resin, the at least one polysilsesquioxane resin having units of formula (RSiO1.5), R being identical or not, all different from an aryl group and being selected from a group consisting of linear and branched alkyl groups having 1 to 6 carbon atoms and cycloalkyl groups having 3 to 6 carbon atoms, wherein the at least one polysilsesquioxane resin is crosslinked;
- and
- a dispersed phase consisting essentially of mineral fillers.
