Low-cost lead-free dezincification-resistant brass alloy for casting

A dezincification-resistant brass alloy,

• wherein the brass alloy consists of 60-65 wt. % of Cu, 0.05-0.25 wt. % of Pb, 0.53-0.8 wt. % of Al, less than 0.1 wt. % of Sn, 0.05-0.16 wt. % of As, and one or more elements selected from Ni, Fe, Si, P and B;
• wherein the content of Ni in the brass alloy is:
• 0.05-0.5 wt. %;
• the content of Fe is 0.02-0.2 wt. %;
• the content of Si is 0.03-0.3 wt. %;
• the content of P is 0.01-0.2 wt. %;
• and the content of B is less than 15 ppm;
• with the balance being Zn and unavoidable impurities.

A dezincification-resistant brass alloy, wherein the brass alloy consists of 60-65 wt. % of Cu, 0.05-0.25 wt. % of Pb, 0.24-0.4 wt. % of Al, 0.27-0.4 wt. % of Sn, 0.05-0.16 wt. % of As, one or more elements selected from Ni, Fe, Si, P and B;

• the content of Ni in the brass alloy is 0.05-0.5 wt. %;
• the content of Fe is 0.02-0.2 wt. %;
• the content of Si is 0.03-0.3 wt. %;
• the content of P is 0.01-0.2 wt. %;
• and the content of B is less than 15 ppm;
• with the balance being Zn and unavoidable impurities.

A dezincification-resistant brass alloy for casting, wherein the brass alloy consists of 60-65 wt. % of Cu, 0.05-0.25 wt. % of Pb, 0.53-0.8 wt. % of Al, 0.05-0.16 wt. % of As, one or more elements selected from Ni, Fe, Si, P and B;

• the content of Ni in the brass alloy is:
• 0.05-0.5 wt. %;
• the content of Fe is 0.02-0.2 wt. %;
• the content of Si is 0.03-0.3 wt. %;
• the content of P is 0.01-0.2 wt. %;
• and the content of B is 5-15 ppm, with the balance being Zn and unavoidable impurities.
