Abstract
Disclosed herein are monospecific HCAb antibodies with antigen-binding specificity to PDGF and bispecific antibodies with antigen-binding specificities to PDGF-2 and VEGF or to PDGF and ANG-2.
Claims8
A method of treating an ophthalmologic disorder comprising administering to a subject in need thereof a heavy-chain only antibody (HCAb) comprising homodimeric variable heavy chain (VH) regions wherein each VH region comprises:
- a CDR1 having the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:23;
- a CDR2 having the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:24;
- and
- a CDR3 having the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:25;
- wherein the HCAb retains its specificity for PDGF-BB;
- and
- wherein the HCAB binds to PDGF-BB and treats the ophthalmologic disorder, and wherein the ophthalmologic disorder is selected from the group consisting of dry age-related macular degeneration, wet age-related macular degeneration, choroidal neovascularization (CNV), cystoid macula edema (CME), myopia-associated choroidal neovascularization, vascular streaks, diabetic macular edema (DME), macular edema, retinal vein occlusion, abnormal corneal angiogenesis, pterygium conjunctivae, subretinal edema, or intraretinal edema.
