Tumor ablation devices and related methods

A medical device for ablation within a vertebra of a patient, the medical device comprising:

• a first tubular conductor;
• a tubular insulator at least partially disposed within the first tubular conductor;
• a second tubular conductor at least partially disposed within the tubular insulator;
• an outer sleeve fixedly coupled to a distal portion of the second tubular conductor and distally offset from the first tubular conductor;
• an elongate shaft that is coupled to the second tubular conductor such that manipulation of the elongate shaft causes articulation of a distal portion of the medical device;
• a thermal energy delivery probe that is configured to be at least partially disposed within a channel of the second tubular conductor, wherein the thermal energy delivery probe comprises a stylet;
• and
• one or more temperature sensors coupled to and disposed along the stylet of the thermal energy delivery probe;
• wherein the thermal energy delivery probe is displaceable with respect to the second tubular conductor, thereby enabling displacement of the one or more temperature sensors relative to second tubular conductor;
• and
• wherein the medical device is configured such that, when the medical device is activated for ablation within a vertebra of a patient, an electrical current flows between a distal portion of the second tubular conductor and the first tubular conductor via tissue within the vertebra of the patient.
