Absorbable iron-based alloy implantable medical device

An absorbable iron-based alloy implanted medical device, comprising:

• an iron-based alloy substrate and a degradable polymer disposed on the surface of the iron-based alloy substrate, further comprising a zinc-containing protector disposed on the surface of the iron-based alloy substrate,
• wherein the zinc-containing protector is zinc and/or a zinc alloy, or a mixture of the zinc and/or the zinc alloy and a degradable adhesive;
• in the mixture, the weight percentage of the zinc and/or zinc alloy is more than or equal to 20 percent and less than 100 percent, and
• the zinc-containing protector covers at least part of the iron-based alloy substrate such that there are either no non-covered regions or non-covered regions with corresponding non-covered region edge lines in which a shortest distance between the non-covered regions and the edge line on the surface of the iron-based alloy substrate is less than or equal to 40 mm.
