Microfluidic cartridge

A microfluidic cartridge comprising:

• a reservoir;
• a first face comprising a major opening having an open area;
• a second face joined with the first face;
• an electrical circuit comprising a first end portion and a second end portion, wherein the first end portion of the electrical circuit is disposed on the first face and comprises electrical contacts, wherein the major opening is distal to the electrical circuit, wherein the electrical circuit comprises a circuit minor opening having an open area, wherein the open area of the major opening is larger than the open area of the circuit minor opening;
• and
• a microfluidic die electrically connected with the second end portion of the electrical circuit, wherein the microfluidic die is in fluid communication with the reservoir.

A microfluidic cartridge comprising:

• a reservoir;
• a first face comprising a first end portion, a second end portion, and a central portion separating the first and second end portions, wherein the first face comprises a first major opening in the first end portion, the first major opening having a first shape, and wherein the first face comprises a second major opening in the second end portion, the second major opening having a second shape that is different from the first shape;
• a second face joined with the first face;
• an electrical circuit comprising a first end portion and a second end portion, wherein the first end portion of the electrical circuit is disposed on the central portion of the first face, wherein the first end portion of the electrical circuit comprises electrical contacts;
• and
• a microfluidic die electrically connected with the second end portion of the electrical circuit, wherein the microfluidic die is in fluid communication with the reservoir.
