Charging mode switching circuit and method

A circuit for switching a charging mode, comprising:

• a charging circuit;
• a switch circuit;
• a first controller, configured to control the switch circuit;
• and
• a second controller, configured to recognize whether an inserted adapter is a first adapter or a second adapter, to control the switch circuit to switch on to charge a cell in response to determining that the inserted adapter is the first adapter, and to control the charging circuit to switch on to charge the cell in response to determining that the inserted adapter is the second adapter.

A mobile terminal, comprising:

• a cell;
• a switching assembly;
• a second controller, configured to send a charging instruction in response to detecting an insertion of an adapter via the switching assembly;
• a first controller, configured to receive the charging instruction sent from the second controller and to receive a quick-charging instruction from the adapter via the switching assembly, and further configured to send a connection instruction in response to receiving the charging instruction and the quick-charging instruction;
• and
• a switch circuit, configured to connect the adapter and the cell in response to receiving the connection instruction from the first controller, such that the adapter charges the cell via the switch circuit.
