Display device having a bending region

A display device comprising:

• a single, unitary substrate including a first region in which an image is displayed, a second region in which a plurality of pad terminals are disposed, and a bending region being configured to bend along a bending axis which extends in a first direction and disposed between the first region and the second region;
• and
• a plurality of pixels and a plurality of signal lines disposed in the first region;
• and
• wherein the plurality of pad terminals are electrically connected to the plurality of signal lines,
• wherein a first width of the bending region, at its widest point, in the first direction, is narrower than a second width of the second region in the first direction, and
• wherein the bending region is bent such that the second region overlaps the first region.
