Claims22
A protein having a glucose-binding site, the protein comprising an amino acid chain, the amino acid chain comprising an amino acid sequence greater than 98 percent identical to SEQ ID No. 9, wherein residue 16 of SEQ ID No. 9 is located at the glucose-binding site, and is a hydrophilic amino acid other than Cys.
A protein having a glucose-binding domain, the protein comprising an amino acid chain, the amino acid chain comprising, in order:
- SEQ ID No. 7;
- SEQ ID No. 9;
- SEQ ID No. 10;
- and SEQ ID No. 11.
