Abstract
A novel maize variety designated PH47NN and seed, plants and plant parts thereof are provided. Methods for producing a maize plant comprise crossing maize variety PH47NN with another maize plant are provided. Methods for producing a maize plant containing in its genetic material one or more traits introgressed into PH47NN through backcross conversion and/or transformation, and to the maize seed, plant and plant part produced thereby are provided. Hybrid maize seed, plants or plant parts are produced by crossing the variety PH47NN or a locus conversion of PH47NN with another maize variety.
Claims20
A seed, plant, plant part, or plant cell of inbred maize variety PH47NN, representative seed of the variety having been deposited under NCMA accession number 202006046.
A converted seed, plant, plant part or plant cell of inbred maize variety PH47NN, representative seed of the maize variety PH47NN having been deposited under NCMA accession number 202006046, wherein the converted seed, plant, plant part or plant cell comprises fewer than six locus conversions, and wherein the plant or a plant grown from the converted seed, plant part or plant cell comprises the fewer than six locus conversions and otherwise comprises the physiological and morphological characteristics of maize variety PH47NN when grown under the same environmental conditions, and further wherein the fewer than six locus conversion confer a property selected from the group consisting of male sterility, site-specific recombination, abiotic stress tolerance, altered phosphate, altered antioxidants, altered fatty acids, altered essential amino acids, altered carbohydrates, herbicide tolerance, insect resistance and disease resistance.
A seed of inbred maize variety PH47NN, further comprising a transgene, representative seed of inbred maize variety PH47NN having been deposited under NCMA accession number 202006046, wherein the transgene was introduced into inbred maize variety PH47NN by backcrossing or genetic transformation.
