A novel maize variety designated X03N360 and seed, plants and plant parts thereof are produced by crossing inbred maize varieties. Methods for producing a maize plant by crossing hybrid maize variety X03N360 with another maize plant are disclosed. Methods for producing a maize plant containing in its genetic material one or more traits introgressed into X03N360 through backcrossing or genetic transformation, and to the maize seed, plant and plant part produced thereby are described. Maize variety X03N360, the seed, the plant produced from the seed, and variants, mutants, and minor modifications of maize variety X03N360 are provided. Methods for producing maize varieties derived from maize variety X03N360 and methods of using maize variety X03N360 are disclosed.
A seed of hybrid maize variety X03N360, representative seed produced by crossing a first plant of variety PH48J8 with a second plant of variety PH2DPY, wherein representative seed of the varieties PH48J8 and PH2DPY have been deposited under NCMA Accession Number 202004014 and ATCC Accession Number PTA-124001, respectively.
A seed of hybrid maize variety X03N360 further comprising a single locus conversion, wherein a plant grown from the seed comprises a trait conferred by the single locus conversion, and wherein the seed is produced by crossing a first plant of variety PH48J8 with a second plant of variety PH2DPY, wherein the first plant, the second plant or both further comprise the single locus conversion, and wherein representative seed of the varieties PH48J8 and PH2DPY without the single locus conversion have been deposited under NCMA Accession Number 202004014 and ATCC Accession Number PTA-124001, respectively.
A method for producing a hybrid maize variety X03N360 seed further comprising a locus conversion, the method comprising crossing a first plant of variety PH48J8 with a second plant of variety PH2DPY, representative seed of the varieties PH48J8 and PH2DPY having been deposited under NCMA Accession Number 202004014 and ATCC Accession Number PTA-124001, respectively, wherein at least one of the varieties PH48J8 and PH2DPY further comprises the locus conversion.
