Air intake heater system for a combustion engine, method for heating intake air and a vehicle comprising such a system

An air intake heater system for a combustion engine, comprising:

• a turbocharger having a compressor inlet, a compressor outlet, a turbine inlet and a turbine outlet;
• a high pressure EGR conduit having an inlet connected to the turbine inlet and an outlet connected to an intake manifold;
• a low pressure EGR conduit having an inlet connected to the turbine outlet and an outlet connected to the compressor inlet;
• and an air intake conduit having an inlet connected to the compressor outlet and an outlet connected to the intake manifold, wherein the system comprises a heat exchanger arranged upstream of the compressor inlet, wherein the heat exchanger comprises a first flow channel connecting an air inlet to the compressor inlet and a second flow channel, wherein the second flow channel is part of the high pressure EGR conduit, and wherein the outlet of the low pressure EGR conduit is arranged downstream of the heat exchanger.
