Multi-loop coupling for lead extension and extraction

A device for extending a lead, comprising:

• an elongate body having a longitudinal axis and a circumference,
• wherein the elongate body includes a lumen and a wall, the wall including a first aperture, a second aperture, a third aperture, and a fourth aperture, the second aperture being distally positioned relative to the first aperture, the third aperture being distally positioned relative to the second aperture, the fourth aperture being distally positioned relative to the third aperture,
• wherein the first aperture and the second aperture are offset along the longitudinal axis and offset along the circumference, wherein the first aperture and the third aperture are offset along the longitudinal axis and offset along the circumference,
• wherein the second aperture and the fourth aperture are offset along the longitudinal axis and offset along the circumference,
• wherein the third aperture and the fourth aperture are offset along the longitudinal axis and offset along the circumference;
• a filament comprising:
• a first filament loop extending along the lumen and through the first aperture and the second aperture;
• and
• a second filament loop extending along the lumen and through the third aperture and the fourth aperture;
• wherein the first and second filament loops are arranged to receive a lead.
