Abstract
The present disclosure relates to compositions capable of absorbing UVA and UVB light. In particle, the present disclosure relates to UV screening compositions comprising at least a portion of LITE-1 polypeptides which are capable of absorbing UV light (e.g., UV-A and/or UV-B light).
Claims8
A composition comprising:
- a) a LITE-1 polypeptide or a portion thereof wherein said LITE-1 polypeptide or portion thereof comprises one or more mutations, wherein said mutations comprise S226F and/or A332V and are capable of absorbing UV light;
- and b) at least one carrier.
