Claims20
An expandable spinal implant comprising:
- a stationary base member comprising an elongate slot extending along a longitudinal axis of the stationary base member;
- a movable base member comprising an angled slot;
- and
- an actuator comprising a first projection configured to be received in the elongate slot and a second projection configured to be received in the angled slot,
- wherein rotation of the actuator causes movement of the movable base member relative to the stationary base member
- wherein the moveable base member moves laterally with respect to the stationary base member.

An expandable spinal implant comprising:
- a stationary base member comprising a tool engaging recess at a leading end and an elongate slot extending along a longitudinal axis of the stationary base member;
- a movable base member comprising an angled slot;
- an actuator comprising a first projection configured to be received in the elongate slot and a second projection configured to be received in the angled slot;
- wherein the tool engaging recess is configured to receive a tool, and
- wherein the actuator is configured to receive the tool to move the actuator between the movable base member and the stationary base member in order to expand or contract a width of the expandable spinal implant,
- wherein the moveable base member moves laterally with respect to the stationary base member.
