A novel maize variety designated X00N532 and seed, plants and plant parts thereof are produced by crossing inbred maize varieties. Methods for producing a maize plant by crossing hybrid maize variety X00N532 with another maize plant are disclosed. Methods for producing a maize plant containing in its genetic material one or more traits introgressed into X00N532 through backcrossing or genetic transformation, and to the maize seed, plant and plant part produced thereby are described. Maize variety X00N532, the seed, the plant produced from the seed, and variants, mutants, and minor modifications of maize variety X00N532 are provided. Methods for producing maize varieties derived from maize variety X00N532 and methods of using maize variety X00N532 are disclosed.
A seed of hybrid maize variety X00N532, representative seed produced by crossing a first plant of variety PH48J8 with a second plant of variety PH1W4R, wherein representative seed of the varieties PH48J8 and PH1W4R have been deposited under NCMA Accession Number 202004014 and ATCC Accession Number PTA-121351, respectively.
A seed of hybrid maize variety X00N532 further comprising a single locus conversion, wherein a plant grown from the seed comprises a trait conferred by the single locus conversion, and wherein the seed is produced by crossing a first plant of variety PH48J8 with a second plant of variety PH1W4R, wherein the first plant, the second plant or both further comprise the single locus conversion, and wherein representative seed of the varieties PH48J8 and PH1W4R without the single locus conversion have been deposited under NCMA Accession Number 202004014 and ATCC Accession Number PTA-121351, respectively.
A method for producing a hybrid maize variety X00N532 seed further comprising a locus conversion, the method comprising crossing a first plant of variety PH48J8 with a second plant of variety PH1W4R, representative seed of the varieties PH48J8 and PH1W4R having been deposited under NCMA Accession Number 202004014 and ATCC Accession Number PTA-121351, respectively, wherein at least one of the varieties PH48J8 and PH1W4R further comprises the locus conversion.
