Abstract
Embodiments of the disclosure provide a method and apparatus for performing fractional subframe transmission. The method may comprise: in response to detecting that a channel becomes available, determining a target position from at least one potential position predefined in a subframe; and performing the fractional subframe transmission from the target position.
Claims16
A method of performing transmission, the method comprising:
- sending to a user equipment (UE) at one of at least one of predetermined position(s) within a subframe n, an information indicating a value of how many symbols are used for a downlink signal transmitted in a subframe n+1 in an unlicensed spectrum, wherein the value of how many symbols corresponds to less than a full subframe;
- and
- performing transmission of the downlink signal in the subframe n+1.
A method of performing reception, the method comprising:
- receiving from a base station (BS) at one of at least one of predetermined position(s) within a subframe n, an information indicating a value of how many symbols are used for a downlink signal transmitted in a subframe n+1 in an unlicensed spectrum, wherein the value of how many symbols corresponds to less than a full subframe;
- and
- receiving the downlink signal in the subframe n+1.
A base station apparatus comprising:
- a receiver;
- and
- a transmitter, wherein the transmitter is configured to:
- send to a user equipment (UE) at one of at least one of predetermined position(s) within a subframe n, an information indicating a value of how many symbols are used for a downlink signal transmitted in a subframe n+1 in an unlicensed spectrum, wherein the value of how many symbols corresponds to less than a full subframe, and
- perform transmission of the downlink signal in the subframe n+1.

A user equipment (UE) apparatus comprising:
- a transmitter;
- and
- a receiver, wherein the receiver is configured to:
