Abstract
A method of displaying a user interface (UI) on a screen of a device is provided. The method includes selecting, when an event occurs, a first object, which is related to the event, from among the one or more objects included in the UI, determining a second object for executing a second operation related to a first operation, the first operation being executed when the first object is selected by an input to the device, and changing the first object into the second object.
Claims11
A method of displaying a user interface UI on a display of a device, the method comprising:
- displaying the UI according to a set layout, the UI displaying an application;
- in response to detecting a position information of the device being out of a predetermined range, displaying a recommended application according to the position information and a type of the application displayed on the UI, the predetermined range being determined based on an area that the device has moved within a time period;
- and
- based on a user input selecting the recommended application, modifying an object on the UI to display the recommended application.
A device for displaying a UI, the device comprising:
- a display;
- and
- a controller configured to:
- control the display to display the UI according to a set layout, the UI displaying an application;
- in response to detecting a position information of the device being out of a predetermined range, display a recommended application according to the position information and a type of the application displayed on the UI, the predetermined range being determined based on an area that the device has moved within at time period;
- and
- based on a user input selecting the recommended application, modify an object on the UI to display the recommended application.
