Hail-resistant vehicle cover

A hail resistant vehicle cover for a vehicle having a surface, the vehicle cover comprising:

• a plurality of interconnected panels, each one of the plurality of interconnected panels including:
• an upper surface formed of a first material,
• a lower surface formed of a second material that does not scratch the surface of the vehicle and adapted to lay against the surface of the vehicle,
• at least one hollow concave cavity formed in the lower surface,
• a front edge,
• a rear edge,
• a left side edge,
• a right side edge,
• a flexible and detachable joint disposed at the rear edge for joining an associated one of the plurality of interconnected panels on the rear edge thereof to the front edge of an adjacent one of the plurality of interconnected panels, and
• left and right side curtains connected to and extending from the left side edge and the right side edge, respectively, and fabricated from the second material and adapted to extend downward along sides of the vehicle;
• wherein at least two of the plurality of interconnected panels each have a securing device interfaced thereto for securing associated ones of the plurality of interconnected panels to the vehicle;
• and
• wherein, when the plurality of interconnected panels is joined at respective front and rear edges, the plurality of interconnected panels can be folded in an accordion configuration.
