A novel maize variety designated 52775280 and seed, plants and plant parts thereof are produced by crossing inbred maize varieties. Methods for producing a maize plant by crossing hybrid maize variety 52775280 with another maize plant are disclosed. Methods for producing a maize plant containing in its genetic material one or more traits introgressed into 52775280 through backcrossing or genetic transformation, and to the maize seed, plant and plant part produced thereby are described. Maize variety 52775280, the seed, the plant produced from the seed, and variants, mutants, and minor modifications of maize variety 52775280 are provided. Methods for producing maize varieties derived from maize variety 52775280 and methods of using maize variety 52775280 are disclosed.

A seed of hybrid maize variety 52775280 further comprising a single locus conversion, wherein a plant grown from the seed comprises a trait conferred by the single locus conversion, and wherein the seed is produced by crossing a first plant of variety 5DDSM1131 with a second plant of variety 7MMDX2059, wherein the first plant, the second plant or both further comprise the single locus conversion, and wherein representative seed of the varieties 5DDSM1131 and 7MMDX2059 have been deposited under ATCC Accession Numbers PTA-126727 and PTA-126528, respectively.
A method for producing a hybrid maize variety 52775280 seed further comprising a locus conversion, the method comprising crossing a first plant of variety 5DDSM1131 with a second plant of variety 7MMDX2059, representative seed of the varieties 5DDSM1131 and 7MMDX2059 having been deposited under ATCC Accession Numbers PTA-126727 and PTA-126528, respectively, wherein at least one of the varieties 5DDSM1131 and 7MMDX2059 further comprises the locus conversion.
