Claims20
A floor underlayment, comprising:
- a base;
- and
- a plurality of bosses extending from the base, the plurality of bosses arranged to have a plurality of interspaces provided therebetween that receive pipes or electrical cables for heating, wherein at least one of the plurality of bosses comprises a top surface substantially parallel to the base, a concave surface facing away from the base and surrounded by the top surface, and at least one adhering low relief that creates an extraction-preventing undercut beneath the concave surface;
- wherein the at least one of the plurality of bosses further comprises a raised ring extending from the top surface away from the base, the raised ring surrounded by a first portion of the top surface and surrounding a second portion of the top surface.

A support for heating elements of floors and of radiation claddings, the support comprising:
- a base comprising a first surface and an opposing second surface;
- a thermal insulation element positioned adjacent to the first surface of the base;
- and
- a plurality of bosses extending from the second surface of the base, the plurality of bosses arranged to have a plurality of interspaces provided therebetween that receive pipes or electrical cables for heating, wherein at least one of the plurality of bosses comprises a top surface substantially parallel to the base, a concave surface facing away from the base and surrounded by the top surface, and at least one adhering low relief that creates an extraction-preventing undercut beneath the concave surface;
- wherein the at least one of the plurality of bosses further comprises a raised ring extending from the top surface away from the base, the raised ring surrounded by a first portion of the top surface and surrounding a second portion of the top surface.

A support designed for use in a radiant heating system of a floor, the support comprising:
- a base comprising a first surface and an opposing second surface;
- a thermal insulation element positioned adjacent to the first surface of the base and comprising at least one of fabric, cork, and a sheet of a metallic material;
- and
- a plurality of bosses extending from the second surface of the base, the plurality of bosses arranged to have a plurality of interspaces provided therebetween, wherein at least one of the plurality of bosses comprises a top surface substantially parallel to the base, a concave surface facing away from the base and surrounded by the top surface, and at least one adhering low relief that creates an extraction-preventing undercut beneath the concave surface;
- wherein the at least one of the plurality of bosses further comprises a raised ring extending from the top surface away from the base, the raised ring surrounded by a first portion of the top surface and surrounding a second portion of the top surface.
