Abstract
A retractable handle arrangement may include a handle having a swing-arm moveable about a pivot axis and arranged to couple the handle to a support structure for movement between a stowed state and a deployed state. The swing arm may, in the deployed state, engage the support structure so as to substantially prevent lateral play of the handle.

A retractable handle arrangement comprising a handle and a swing-arm, wherein the swing-arm is moveable about a pivot axis and arranged to couple the handle to a support structure for movement between a stowed state and a deployed state, and wherein the swing arm comprises an engagement means that, in the stowed state, is spaced apart from the support structure and, in the deployed state, engages the support structure so as to substantially prevent lateral play of the handle, wherein the handle is pivotally coupled to the swing arm so as to be movable from the deployed position to an operative state in which the handle acts to unlatch the door.
